The Bahamas is HAUTE

I love the beautiful island of Nassau for so many reasons. I was just in the Bahamas over the weekend and I got to spend time ocean side reflecting on a number of things. But more importantly, I got to enjoy warm tropical breezes, crystal clear turquoise water and stunning views of Nassau and Paradise Islands. I even got to meet some cool new friends… and convert a few to my Haute Travels following.

Whenever I travel to this pretty little island, I feel at home because the people are warm and beautiful. They’re so friendly; I feel a shared connectedness even though I’m not Bahamian. Over the last several years, I’ve been to Nassau many times, occassionally with my mother, but I always find something new to discover every time I return.


This time I found even more reasons to explore Nassau in a way that I’ve never done before as a writer and photographer. I’m already planning my return for fashion week in the fall. Look for upcoming features on the Bahamas as exclusive Haute Travels profiles because it's just that HAUTE!

    I have not visited, however we are planning a trip to Atlantis later this year and I am excited! You look fab! Looking forward to reading more about your adventures.

    I'll have plenty to tell you about the Bahamas including the redevelopment of the island and Bahamas Fashion Week. But first, there's a really haute event in April... Bahamas in Atlanta!

    I have been to the Bahamas many times. My family used to travel there almost every summer. We love it and although I haven't been back in some years looks like I need to plan a trip back soon. :-)

    I visited the Island a few yrs back and had the best massage on the beach. My fav islands so far are Turks and Caicos and Aruba they were beautiful. I may be forced to go back to the Bahamas next yr on a cruise with my sister.

    I´ve never been to those island but the certainly sound like paradise. I was in very good beaches though. My best memories are in Argentina. I was staying in a buenos aires apartment in the coastal side of the Atlantic Ocean and I was able to see sea lions! Besides, the water was warm at night so I could swim in the evenings. It was perfect!
