Cafe Marly is Haute!

One of my favorite places to dine in Paris is Cafe Marly. It offers an intimate, although some might say, enchanting setting under the arcades of the Richelieu wing of the Louvre Museum with Napoleon III dining rooms bringing the past into the present.

This modern day haute spot offers a long dining hall that makes anybody feel as if they're on a catwalk, so you have no choice but to strut over to your table. The staff even looks like models from high fashion magazines. Everybody knows that models, journalists and fashion designers (also known to many as the Paris jet set) can be seen on any given day at this brasserie.

I joined my friend Alexia for lunch before jetting off to the USA. We had the most amazing conversation over good food from a menu offering simplicity and creative regional dishes, while looking out to see the iconic glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum. The view from Cafe Marly is fabulous... and the atmosphere makes you realize, that you're in Paris, you have arrived!
