This year, I finally made it to Miami for Art Basel. The international art show brings art lovers, galleries and collectors from all over the world including Asia, Africa and Latin America to the USA.
My friends at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami invited me to an invitation-only VIP reception for the distinguished Artist Antonio Dominguez de Haro. The new canvases, inspired by the sea and the artist's scuba diving adventures, were beautiful; the exhibit of 17 underwater paintings was absolutely amazing.
Throughout the evening, glasses of wine were flowing as well as Hors d' oeuvres, including my favorite, the mini lobster rolls.
The crowd included a mix of Miami socialites, celebrities, businessmen and women. The next Art Basel takes place in Hong Kong in March.
