Uber arrived in Paris a while ago, but is it the best way to travel around the City of Light? Well, it all depends on your preferred way to move around the city without getting behind the wheel.
I have tried a variety of transportation options in Paris from the Metro to cabs and Uber. The best way to save money is to use public transportation. But if you want to skip the crowds and packed subway, Uber is most certainly an option.
Requesting Uber in Paris is very much the same as in the USA. Price varies depending on where you're going, time of day and weather conditions. But don't rule out the cabs for more consistent prices when it comes to getting picked up and dropped off.
You can always split costs by pooling your ride whether you use rideshare or hail a cab.
Travel Tip: The locals tell me to try BOLT because it's cheaper than Uber.
