The sunshine and beach waves were calling my name so I headed to Miami for some rest and relaxation. I spent the weekend shopping in the Design District, relaxing on the beach and dinner on South Beach. It was my first getaway since I broke my ankle in Paris last fall.
Traveling after my accident wasn't easy and I did experience some discomfort but getting out was so enjoyable. And I missed traveling so much.
Miami was just the place for some me-time and my pre-birthday brunch.
