Haute Spot: Le Vraymonde

When in Paris, you simply must make reservations for lunch or dinner at Buddha-Bar Hotel Paris' Le Vraymonde. The menu highlights a multitude of influences and the food is delicious. Chef Rougui Dia offers a "hybrid of innovative cuisine" in an intimate setting accented with red hues.

I enjoyed a delightful lunch in the courtyard... with beef fillet, puree de patate douce and mint bearnaise sauce. The meal concluded with sinfully delicious chocolate cake and ice cream. I definitely send my compliments to Chef Dia.

Dinner was also amazing, Chef Dia came out to say hello and I must add her cheesecake is amazing!

The Buddha-Bar Hotel Paris Opens

A new hotel calls Paris home, the Buddah-Bar Hotel Paris is not a year old yet, but it’s nothing short of fabulous! I was one of the first members of the International press to sample this luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the City of Light.

It’s just steps away from Haute Couture boutiques on Faubourg Saint Honore. It’s also near the Champs-Elysees in the 8th Arrondissement. The hotel has just 56 rooms including 19 suites on the city’s right bank.

Once I checked in and opened the door to my room, I was in aww of the red glass, silks and Asian lacquer furniture in a beautifully restored 18th century hotel. The scene is very much contemporary neo-Asian style with a little bit of French influence.

The bathroom was my favorite spot with a round tub that was made for soaking. And then the custom toilet complete with a rinse cycle. But, I also loved the signature bath products left in the bathroom complete with bathsalts and lotions.

The Buddah-Bar Hotel Paris offers a lesson in “The Art of Living.”

Haute Selfies in Paris

During a champagne meetup and conversations with a client at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine, I took a series of selfies to express my many moods... cheers!

Haute Spot: Hyatt Paris Madeleine

If you’re looking for an amazing 5-star luxury, boutique hotel in Paris, then look no further than the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. It’s housed in the historical district of Paris along Boulevard Malesherbes in the area of La Madeleine. It’s within walking distance from the famous streets Faubourg Saint-Honore and Rue Royal where shopping until you drop takes on a whole new meaning. It’s considered by some as the most fashionable district of Paris since it’s also close to department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette on nearby Haussmann Boulevard.

The ultra modern design and black and gold furnishings makes this a haute spot for Champagne meetups and sophisticated dining options at La Chinoiserie and Le Café M. Every morning, during my stay, I enjoyed breakfast with friends in Café M… it was an absolute wonderful way to start my day in Paris.  But when it comes to cocktail hour and Champagne meetups, there’s no better place to be than near the fireplace in La Chinoiserie. It was beyond dreamy.

Before turning into my suite for a warm bubble bath and sinking into my plush oversized bed, I opened the floor to ceiling windows and watched the Eiffel Tower light up the night sky! Just imagine going to sleep and waking up to the magic of The City of Light.

I absolutely love this hotel because it offers all the modern amenities and accommodates my technology needs with complimentary Wi-Fi. The marble bath has amazing lighting and great mirrors with a separate walk in rain shower and bath for soaking.  The suites are spacious and offer a lot of room to move around and plan wardrobe changes with your stylist.

The Hyatt Paris Madeleine has just 86 rooms and suites in natural hues and light wood furniture, it’s also within walking distance to world famous attractions such as the Louvre Museum, Paris Opera Garnier, Place de la Madeleine, the River Seine and so much more. It really is a hidden gem in the heart of Paris offering exclusivity and privacy.
